The South Africa Project

Another project was launched in South Africa in 2009.

Led by Prof. Heinrich Netz and Prof. Hermann Reichspurner, and partnered by the Walter Sisulu Foundation, 22 poor children with heart disease from African nations underwent successful open-heart surgery in Johannesburg.
