The “Heart for Heart – Foundation for Life!”, with registered office in Munich, was officially recognised as a public foundation under civil law on 14 August 2003 in accordance with sections 80 and 81 of the German Civil Code (BGB). In addition to the Foundation’s charter, the Bavarian Foundation Act (BayRS 282-1-1-UK/WFK) and the Implementing Regulation of the Foundation Act (BayRS 282-1-1-1-UK/WFK) are instrumental when it comes to running the Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit organisation subject to oversight by the Government of Upper Bavaria. Donations made to the Foundation are tax deductible.
