Leberkäs tastes delightful – even more so if it helps raise € 10,000 for a good cause. Evi Brandl (photo right), head of the vinzenzmurr butchers’ chain, accompanied by Master of the National Guild, Georg Schlagbauer (photo centre), presented Dr Irène Lejeune, member of the board of “Heart for Heart – Foundation for Life!”, with her donation at the Rosenstrasse branch of vinzenzmurr. The sum had been partly raised by the campaign, “Leberkäs helps...” on the occasion of the traditional butchers’ leap at Viktualienmarkt in Munich.

For every Leberkäs roll sold at the vinzenzmurr stall on Viktualienmarkt, the customer/donor could choose a pair of socks hand-knitted by a 91-year-old lady in aid of the Foundation.
